Holiday Diamond Drive

The LPsiD Holiday Diamond Drive is aimed at helping the poor, the elderly, children and individuals with disabilities during the Holiday season.  Each year, during the Holiday Diamond Drive, Chapters are required to participate with a local organization in order to provide gifts, meals or services during the Holiday Season to the poor, elderly, children and/or disabled persons.

In addition to providing toys for children, the LPsiD Holiday Diamond Drive encourages Chapters and Sorors to work with local nursing homes, assisted care facilities for the Disabled and local food drive organizations to provide meals, care and/or companionship.

Sample programs of the Holiday Diamond Drive include:
• Canned food drives;
• Providing home-cooked meals;
• Visits to nursing homes or assisted-living facilities for Holiday programs and entertainment; and
• Providing gifts to children, poor families, the elderly or persons with disabilities.
